Message from The St Peter’s College Foundation
On behalf of the board of trustees of The St Peter’s
College Foundation, a very warm welcome to Luke
Martineau’s Reflections – Paintings of St. Peter’s
College and Oxford.
The Foundation is an alumni-led charity that supports
St Peter’s College by investing in its people and
enhancing the experience for undergraduates,
graduates and fellows. It raises money independently
from the College’s Development Office.
We do this by promoting access to the College
for students irrespective of means or background,
providing grants and scholarships, and by investing
in teaching resources and special projects such as
pre-finals reading parties, the Castle Bailey Quad
development, and equipping the chapel to webcast
the choir’s glorious concerts.
Since the beginning of 2020, the Foundation has
provided around £1.8 million in grant support to
St Peter’s, and by the end of 2024 had built up reserves
of approximately £3.8 million. We could not have
done any of this without the extraordinary generosity
of the alumni and friends who have donated to our
cause, to whom we owe a huge debt of gratitude.
